MEET OUR STAFF
Co-Founder & Head Instructor
Tyler ODell
"Coach T" has been coaching hitting in college softball for over 8 years, with experience at Coastal Carolina, App State, Independence CC in Kansas, Gardner-Webb, and currently Guilford College.
Co-Founder & Office Manager
Tess ODell
Tess is a Disney College Program alum, as well as currently runs the bookkeeping for her employer. She has experienced college softball throughout the five years of being married to Tyler.
Facilities Manager
Trent Rich
Trent is Tess's brother (Coach T's brother-in-law) and is the maintenance brains of the operation. His electrical and handyman work has been crucial in the installation and remodeling of the facility.
Ivy Ray
Fielding/Slapping/Hitting Instructor
Ivy graduated from Greensboro College in 2025, following a 5-year playing career. She holds the program record for triples, stolen bases, and at-bats, while reaching 216 career hits. Ivy was named 1st team all-conference and NFCA 2nd team all-region in 2025.
Madi Waltman
Pitching Instructor
Madi graduated from Lock Haven University, following a 4-year pitching career for the Bald Eagles in Pennsylvania. She was a multi-NFCA/Maxpreps Player of the Week, and a multi-conference and team Pitcher of the Week in college. She recorded a no-hitter her sophomore season. Madi is currently in pharmacy school at High Point University.
Megan Martin
Catching/Fielding/Hitting Instructor
Megan has been coaching at Greensboro College for the past years, helping lead the team to a combined 56-30 record. In 2019, she started all 55 games at catcher, achieving a .301 batting average with 41 hits, 5 home runs, and a .471 slugging percentage. She also recorded 307 putouts and caught 12 runners stealing, ranking 10th in UNC’s single-season record book. She played her grad year at University of Minnesota.
Taylor Apple
Pitching Instructor
Taylor is an upcoming senior pitcher at East Carolina University, and is a local Western Alamance alumni. She currently owns a 3.03 career ERA, striking out 259 batters while competing in one of the nation's premier mid-major conferences. Taylor will be offering lessons this summer while on college break.
Kaylyn Little
Fielding and Hitting Instructor
Kaylyn recently graduated from Guilford College after completing her playing career between Winthrop and Guilford. Primarily a corner infielder, Kaylyn is a three-time state champion at West Stanley HS, and has taken on a larger role in the travel ball circuit, providing hitting and fielding development for a large local organization.
